“It’s Like the Beat Gets How I’m Feeling:” Playlists as Personal Resource

Many adolescents already use music as a coping tool. However, music listening can have unintended effects, such as rumination or isolation, if not intentionally used. In this presentation, the presenter will discuss adolescent perspectives on music playlists and will demonstrate how playlist creation can be personalized, adaptive, and effective.
